The Handmade Home: Jenn's Home Tour

Ok, fun news! A few weeks ago I got an email from Ashley a la The Handmade Home.

She asked if I'd be willing to guest post for her. Um...yes! Of course!

Her request: some shots of our home and what we do everyday in it.

I'd love for you to join me there!

In other news, I am so thankful today is a holiday...we have a lot of catching up to do! Little Man seems to be the only one of us who escaped the bug! The Engineer has graciously agreed to help me lead the family effort to spiff up the casa...since we haven't, ahem, cleaned much in the last week.

We are all thankful to be feeling better. Almost normal, I'd say! And thank you for all your well wishes! Y'all are a blessing to us and we appreciate you!

Happy Labor Day!

Hi Jenn, I just "met" you through the Handmade Home. I don't know why I haven't found you before now...but I'm so glad I did! Thank you for your gracious house tour and for sharing how God has graciously provided the "abundantly above" things. I identify with that... Blessings to you today. I'll definitely be a frequent guest to your site!:) Rita@harbourbreeze

We're playing catch-up today, too. The professor has told me that he will scrub both bathrooms while I fold laundry. The rain is nice, isn't it?

I loved your guest post! So fun to explore your house all in one post and I loved getting a peak of the nursery, what a perfect hideaway for Little Bit.

Just BEAUTIFUL! I love your style and love seeing your precious babies amidst it all-so authentic and "lived in". Your words ministered to me today, thank you. I also write a blog about decorating and faith-I will be sure to stop back by.

I stopped by from the Handmade Home and am sooo thrilled I did! I've been going through your lovely blog and am thoroughly enjoying it. Your family and home are beautiful, especially your relationship with God. I can't wait to read more and can already tell I'll be visiting often :) New follower here!

So I've taken a blog break for the month of August (not intentionally, but probably needed!). Just caught up on your fam and had a few comments to make--

SO SO sorry that y'all had the bug! There was a season in life about 3 years ago where we kept the stomach bug for almost a year. It seemed like we were throwing up every couple of months. Truly sanctifying, but horrific.

Your house is so very beautiful! I wish you could come and decorate mine! I also love how you give God the glory for your eye for beauty, your lived in decor, and the grace to see Him in all things. That makes your beautiful house shine even more. What a witness you are being to His beauty too.

Have a great week! Looking forward to more posts on home decor, home schooling, and life with little ones!

Almost forgot--I really related to your post on the longing for more children. I too have been through a similar situation, and know how to pray for you. And I will be praying!
