I know I said I'd be away for a few weeks...but The Engineer reluctantly agreed to hire a "handyman" to help us finish these house projects. As we discussed why I felt this was so necessary, he said,
"I just hate relinquishing control of my house to someone else." I reminded him it won't be "our house" much longer. We hope to see the sign in the yard February 20th! So bittersweet!
And so I feel a bit human again. We're still going hard most nights until around 12, and I'm about to go caulk some trim and scrape some window panes, but still...and too, it's so nice to have things that have to be done. Busy hands...work...it's a good thing!
